What is the work hour program?
CSYC has a long tradition of members putting in work hours.  These hours accomplish many things (1) you get to know the other club members by working along side them on the 2-1/2 work days a year – 18 total hours are required: (2) You build up “work year” seniority for mooring: (3) It helps keep club expenses down by not hiring outside labor. You also get two FREE lunches each year.

Senior member: Minimum of 18 work hours earn 1-work year seniority.
Crewmember: Minimum of 9 work hours earn ½ work year seniority.

What constitutes work hours?
Club maintenance, improvement projects, regatta managment and race committee. Your Flag Officers will be more then happy to assign you a committee chairperson to help you get your minimum work hours.

How long will it take to get a wet mooring?
Chances are you will not have the work year seniority to immediately qualify for wet mooring.  The size and type of sailboat and work hours completed will help determine your eligibility.  The Fleet Captain can better answer your inquiry.

Can I get a dry mooring?
Due to flexibility in the dry mooring area, we can usually accommodate all dry moored boats.  The Fleet Captain can better answer your inquiry.

What are the mooring fees?
Fees are determined by the Square footage (Beam x LOA) of your boat.  Currently, the wet mooring fee is $4.10/Sq foot and dry mooring is $3.00/Sq foot.
